Made a new izzet build and I need help deciding what "draw" spell to use.
Surfin Burn
Steam lets me grab at least 3, but my opponent knows and chooses what I'm gettin, flare gets me the same amount and allows me to choose what I don't keep, but at a higher cost.
I decided to mainboard Thoughtflare and sideboard Steam Augury , and I'm gonna say no on jace cause (besides costing 21.70) he doesnt synergize as well with Young Pyromancer and Nivmagus Elemental .

Hey not sure if you're still debating this, but I am not a fan of Steam Augury at all. At first, it might seem advantageous to see 5 cards instead of 4, but if you think about it, if you really need that fifth card, it's now on the bottom of your library (assuming your opponent is competent), whereas with Thoughtflare , it's now on top. You might also consider Jace, Architect of Thought for some 4-drop draw power.
