Taking Gifts to the Next Level

So I recently got into Modern, and my first list is an Esper Gifts deck based around the Unburial Rites /Iona, Shield of Emeria combo with Gifts.
I just recently acquired the rest of the cards to make it playable, so it currently stands in real life as seen here: No Rest for the Wicked
Basically, I want to make it better. Stronger. The cards in my maybeboard are things which I think are worth considering, which either weren't included due to budget or not knowing about them. I want the Modern community here to tell me which of those I should try and focus on acquiring (it better be damn worth it if I'm getting Thoughtseize s), where to fit them in, and so forth.
I'm still new to the Modern scene, but I'm still pretty experienced. I can do some nasty circumstantial things with Gifts, but I want to make this really strong.

Note: I know it needs more fetches, I'm on that right now.
I suppose that is more relevant... I was originally going to discuss it but I guess it didn't end up that way lol.

Yea I hear ya my original intent was going to be asking about matchups and such but then the post totally changed gears lol.
