Tap effects that spawn tokens?

Something like Kazandu Tuskcaller and Presence of Gond . I don't know how to search for this in the Gatherer search.

I want to abuse the untap effect with Derevi, Empyrial Tactician and spawn a ridiculous amount of tokens.

And definitely Spawning Grounds , I didn't know that was a thing. I only got the bant deck, which it wasn't in. Thanks!

What about other tap effects I could abuse, like Arcanis the Omnipotent ?

I was going to say Godsire but you're using Derevi. I think everyone else mentioned the best ones.

If you just want tokens, deranged hermit is very good, also, parallel lives gives you an extra token for each one you would produce.

Since you are going for tokens, why not double your tokens generated with Illusionist's Bracers ? I run a Rhys the Redeemed Commander deck, and that combo is so awesome.

Would that I mean I get two triggers if Derevi, Empyrial Tactician does damage, and double the tokens from say, Squirrel Nest ?

No. for that you wan Strionic Resonator .

To clarify, activated abilities are formatted in Cost:Effect, such as all of Cromat 's abilities. Triggered abilities are like Derevi's, where they use "when", "whenever", or "at". Mana abilities are abilities that don't target and produce mana, ex. Llanowar Elves
