Teferi EDH (Suggestions/ideas)
Deck Help forum

The main point of this deck is to pull of the Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir + Knowledge Pool Combo, which makes it so that your opponents cannot cast spells from their hand. From there, a creature board-wipe, limits your opponent to casting their general and playing lands for the rest of the game (unless they have other tricks in their bag).
In order to find my combo piece I use Treasure Mage , which I usually flash in Teferi's ability at the end of the last opponents turn (can't be countered, another perk of Teferi) and use it to find Knowledge Pool . Then I can play it at the beginning of my next turn.
I am looking to add other combos that do silly things or to just overall improve my deck so please don't be shy and don't be afraid to give some input.
rothchild10284 - I would love to set Cyclonic Rift or any other board wipe off before I hit my combo, now I just need to find some more solid ways to for my opponents into slow playing to give my deck the time it needs to constantly pull of this win condition. If you know of any cool tricks or cards keep the suggestions coming.

Want to protect a combo in blue? Counterspells.
Force of Will, Mana Drain, Counterspell, Arcane Denial, Dissipate, Pact of Negation, Cancel, Stoic Rebuttal, Cryptic Command, Delay, Deprive, Hinder, Mana Leak, Memory Lapse, Misdirection, etc. etc.

TurboFagoot - I like Delay and Deprive quite a bit, the others are either out of my price range or I have already tried them in the deck. I really only need them to protect Teferi, Mage of Zhalfir entering the field and keeping him there (his ability protects Knowledge Pool and other summoned things). Any thoughts on slowing the game down? Mono-blue has limited options but I am sure there are a few things that I have missed.

Cyclonic Rift seems like a really good card to use just before knowledge pool to almost secure the victory. Never know what kind of shenanigans your opponents have
