Thinking about a Dragonstorm deck..
Deck Help forum

BUt I have no idea where to start, And I dont want anything really expensive (lion's eye diamonds...) in it, so could someone help me figure one out?
I know that the main focus is to get the 4 bogardian hellkites out through Dragonstorm, BUt most are by turn 3...honestly I dont need it to go that fast, but it would be cool.
Help is appreciated
Turn 3 shouldn't be too common in Modern.
We used two criteria to guide us in choosing what cards to ban. First, we have a rule of thumb about Legacy that we don't like consistent turn-two combination decks, but that turn-three combination decks are okay. We modified that rule for Modern by adding a turn to each side: we are going to allow turn-four combination decks, but not decks that consistently win the game on turn three. We banned enough additional cards that we think such decks no longer exist in this format.

Regardless, you'll want to ramp to Dragonstorm ASAP. Now, this can be done with mana boosting cards: think Pyretic Ritual , Seething Song , and so on. In addition, some 0-drop artifacts, such as Memnite and Ornithopter or cards that pay for themselves and more (I'm looking at you, Sol Ring ) could give you some solid cheap ramp. Finally, if you're looking for a late-game approach, consider Cloudstone Curio : bouncing two Ornithopters back and forth will give you everything you need to storm as many dragons as your heart desires.

How about adding Karrthus, Tyrant of Jund with the Hellkites, to also allow them to attack the turn they come out?

I do like that one, especially if I storm out only 3 of my hellkites and can only deal 15 damage to them. Karrthus is a beast!

Just saying, it's not consistent, but a Dragonstorm deck can win turn one occasionally somewhat easily. If the opening hand is: Mountain, 3x Rite of Flame, 2x Seething Song, Dragonstorm. It gets you 6 dragons which can instantly win.

Also isn't Dragonstorm the card not even legal in modern? It has old borders as far as I can tell.

I have a Dragonstorm deck for modern already. It doesn't include like a lot of Dragonstorm decks though.
