Thinking about R/G

I'm thinking about R/G together and wondering whether there's any advantage to going ramp and burn. I have no idea what it would look like or how it would play. There are a lot of green/red decks around but none that take advantage of tapping for extra mana.

Im thinking along the lines of:

4x Arbor Elf

4x card:Avacyn's Pilgrim

4x Farseek

2x Electrickery

4x Volcanic Geyser

4x Mizzium Mortars

4x Reverberate

2x card:Chandra's Fury

4x Thragtusk

2x Elderscale Wurm

2x Hamletback Goliath

I just completely made that up off the top of my head so it's completely ridiculous. BUT.... I mean a deck that combines a fast mana curve with overloaded spells or spells with X cost and big creatures as well. What do you think?

card:Devil's Play is 4 billion times better than Volcanic Geyser , just saying. so is Fireball .

but on to the topic, I think red/green is viable, especially with Kessig Wolf Run still in rotation. especially when gruul comes out, it will be wonderful. i'm wondering what Borborygmos is going to feel like this time around.
