To blue or not to blue?

I have been thinking about splashing blue in my Orzhov deck Orzhov Slow Death for things like Detention Sphere and possibly some counter spells, or maybe Jace.
Thoughts?

@ The Doctor, did you read the description? Doom Blade is not a bad choice, but I would think that Devour Flesh would be a better alternative, seeing Erebos, God of the Dead shuts down the life they gain from it.
But regardless, the question was whether to splash blue or not, not whether Liliana belonged in the deck, lol.

honestly I didn't need to read the description. I know what she does and how she's used.
She's just not a useful walker in standard.
As for blue, I'd advise against it. If you're already depending on Liliana to help you mana fix, adding another color won't help.

@ The Doctor she is just to ensure hitting mana drops really, not so much to "fix", she thins out the deck, and the land I want for Debt to the Deathless anyways. So not really hurting, but I can see where you're coming from. Why not have a two cmc kill spell rather than a 4 cmc kill spell or pay 4 cmc for one swamp, right?

Because in 80% of cases, her kill spell won't be enough. Especially with some of the nasty cards right now. You only technically have 7 swamps, less then a third of your land, that her kill ability would be useful for. Meaning most of the time, you'd be lucky to get two or three -1/-1 out of her. A 2-drop kill that can get ANYTHING that's not black is much more useful.

your first problem is that you have 3 Liliana's in the deck. I'd take her out, put in Doom Blade .
