Hello, recently I started playing at a store that does drafts for tournaments, and I know of another store that you can just bring your own deck. What is the Format that my decks need to be? I notice there are some key cards and really good ones that I love using in my main decks that are listed "illegal" on the side bar of my deck lists and I'm wanting to make sure I can use my decks to their fullest extent. Feel free to check out my main decks "1# Holy Waters", "2# Wild Chaos", and "3# Chaotic Drain" Thank you!

All of TappedOut's card data is inputted manually, so always take it with a grain of salt should something look a bit odd.

Most constructed tournaments (constructed = bring your own deck) are in the Standard format, though you'll see Modern and Legacy so it's important to be sure what the format is before showing up.

If you are new and don't have anything older than Return to Ravnica, it would be best to avoid Modern and Legacy until you can learn more about the immense card-pools, format speed, and the common decks. Just because your Standard deck is technically legal for Legacy doesn't mean you'll have a chance.

Check the Banned/Restricted Lists at wizards.com.

You should always call the game store ahead of time to ask what format they are running.
