tribal sphinxes?

i was thinking, maybe i should make a tribal sphinx deck, i tried it once, with bad results, does anyone have any ideas on how to make this work, i was thinking esper

Thing about Sphinxes is they have a high mana curve generally. Though it's very doable and depends on which ones you want to use. Black/White would give access to removals that'll keep you alive, but drives the price up due to mana-fixture. You can go the route of cheating them in ala Quicksilver Amulet . I know someone here has made a Sphinx EDH deck that has work quite well for them. Quick search didn't bring it up though.
