The above is a link to one of my decks. I've recently started trying to build an effective Esper deck in Standard, and this is my current attempt at an Esper deck. The main win conditions are pretty obvious. Win conditions include Elspeth, Sun's Champion , AEtherling , and just for the sake of being annoying to the opponent, Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver .

Maybe take a look at my deck for some ideas on balance and tricks.I commonly place 4-0 or 3-1.
I rely on far less creatures, and currently do not use Ashiok, Nightmare Weaver , although I have considered trying him out, possibly in the sideboard. I also rely on more removal than bounce or tempo given the nature of the format.

ThatBlueMage:I suppose I should be more specific on what I'm looking for. I find that the biggest problem for this deck, and for plenty of decks out there, is aggro. It's annoying to go up against and plenty of people are running it. I would like some assistance making this deck ready to go up against fast aggro decks without losing the edge against mid-range or control.
Nigrescence:I really like your deck idea. More expensive than I can currently afford to make my Esper, but nonetheless it tackles aggro quite a bit, which is good to see. I will have to mull over some of the cards in your deck and see if I can't take some cards out of my deck to fit them in.

I would be interested in reading anybody's thoughts on whether or not I should continue running my four Nightveil Specter and my three Thassa, God of the Sea in the Esper deck I linked. The Nightveil Specter does manage to animate Thassa, God of the Sea for varying periods of time, however I have to wonder if the 7 slots they are taking up could be put to better use.
