UB Control in Standard

Ever since Cavern of Souls was printed in Avacyn Restored, UB control hasn't seen much play, and with cards like Darkslick Shores . Grave Titan , Mana Leak , card:Black Sun's Zenith and Consecrated Sphinx out of standard, my question is, does UB control have any sort of momentum going into Gatecrash? It still has Nephalia Drownyard , Liliana of the Veil , Dissipate , Tragic Slip , Forbidden Alchemy and a few new additions that would work well, such as Griselbrand , Tamiyo, the Moon Sage , Jace, Architect of Thought and Mutilate but does it have enough to compete against all the Midrange decks in today's meta?

If your question is "Will UB Control work after Gatecrash", the only reasonable answer would be "Maybe, since Dimir (U/B) will be represented and we will obviously be getting many more Blue and Black cards from the set. Though, since no Dimir cards have been spoiled yet, there's no telling how good those cards will be for Control."
