UW Artifact vs B/W Protection

Hi, I am a recently new MTG player, I need some help constructing a deck in order to beat my friends.

His deck is a B/W deck in which revolves around him using his Black spells to destroy my creatures, white spells to exile them (oblivion ring and such)and finally to build enough mana to get Lilana Vess in order to search his deck, and use either a White Sun's Zenith to summon atleast 10-20 tokens to attack me with a mighty force, or a Desolation Angel to destroy my lands and creatures and attack me without having a chance to recover.

At first I used a Mono White Tempered Steel Artifact deck, (my first deck) and it had an amazing win ratio over him, until he switched his deck to be faster and now he can keep up the speed or even faster in my deck. I do not have the list of cards in his deck, but here are my two decks, if anyone can recommend any suggestions or ideas of a deck that can win against his any help would be grateful.
