u/w control help

u/w is my favorite conbination, but i have been out of the game for many years and I am just getting back into it now. i'm trying to throw this together to be really competitive at my local fnm's, but it keep falling short in playtesting. any help would be greatly appeciated. i really want to stick to the idea of board control then swinging with multiple exalts on a creature bonded to silverblade=paladin.
