Vault of the angel or Gavony Township

So, im running a very aggressive mono white human deck and im only splashing colors for the special lands, but i have no U/W lands or Moorland HauntMTG Card: Moorland Haunts. So im thinking of running either Vault of the ArchangelMTG Card: Vault of the Archangel or Gavony TownshipMTG Card: Gavony Township. Now heres my thought, i think gavony is better because imy deck has no late game and gavony will help me kill them faster and keep my creature on the boatd longer. Am i right or is my friend right in thinking the vault is just better? Which i dont think it is because i feel vault only delays the inevitable. Thoughts?

They each are good in different situations, I would honestly go with the Vault because barring indestructible or first strike creatures you are almost always gonna wipe their board and/or cause a pretty big life swing. Whereas the Township takes a few activations to make your guys into a threat.

My two cents.

Well, with either land, if they play a Day of JudgmentMTG Card: Day of Judgment you're pretty hosed, so you need to look at each card.

Gavony TownshipMTG Card: Gavony Township - This card makes all of your tiny, efficient creatures into monsters. It's a great thing to do during combat and catch your opponent off guard, or at the end of your opponents turn.

Vault of the ArchangelMTG Card: Vault of the Archangel - This card makes all of your tiny, efficient creatures into tiny, efficient Wurmcoil EngineMTG Card: Wurmcoil Engine's. And honestly, who doesn't love more Wurmcoil?

So, assuming you are going to see the light at the end of the world via Day of JudgmentMTG Card: Day of Judgment, which of these two is better?

Vault of the ArchangelMTG Card: Vault of the Archangel.

All of your small dudes become kill spells and life gain attached to them. Using this land causes your opponent to hesitate while blocking, and let's you gain a ridiculous amount of life, so while you're opponents at 6, you're sitting pretty at 35.

And that's my opinion for you. Happy playing.

depends on the situation and the meta. vault is safer as you wont lose all your "progress" from the land due to kill spells. gavony is useful as long as they dont kill your stuff.

My only problem with Vault is yes, it gives your creatures death touch, but that's only relevant if they actually block, Tragic SlipMTG Card: Tragic Slip is a very real card, and lifelink is great. But if they're DoJ the board anyway, then no amount of life will save you because they're playing control and you just lost. But them being on the 4 or 5 less health can become alot more relevant then you being at 30 that a Grave TitanMTG Card: Grave Titan laughs at. I don't know, I almost feel like it's coming down to personal preference lol.

DoJ is a sorcery, if your activating the vault at all youve got creatures and they cant day. Instant speed removal is spot removal and its dependant on what you have and how much mana they have.

As stated earlier, the land depends on the deck.

And a grave titan can get pwned by a sanctuary cat with vault. If you've got fault you can just leave creatures untapped and if they swing they lose one of their few bombs.

But as an aggro deck, leaving a creature tapped, just as a removal spell that will most likely cost all of ur mana, then you've already lost in my opinion.

What Jmickey701 has said is very true. Which is why you need to use Vault of the ArchangelMTG Card: Vault of the Archangel proactively, rather than re-actively. Use it to ensure your creatures are going to be dealing damage. Because no one wants to block a 1/1 spirit with deathtouch with anything.
