Venser, Tezz, and Spine of Ish Sah

Deck Help forum

Recently got my playset of Vensers and decided to throw a deck together despite lacking enough W/U/B dual lands to really make it work.

While playtesting, I managed to get out a Spine of Ish Sah with Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas on the board and used his -1 to make it a creature. Now, it's a 5/5 that, if destroyed, goes back into my hand.

Next turn I draw venser,-the-sojurner and attack with the 5/5 Spine. 2nd main phase, I bounce it once to destroy a permanent, next turn I can -1 it with Tezz again.

What do you think? It doesn't work incredibly well in Standard, but if you include Master Transmuter , it's possible to get the spine down FAST.

Thoughts?

Planning on using Mycosynth Wellspring , Ichor Wellspring , and Solemn Simulacrum to get the mana/draw for Spine of Ish Sah

Venser, the Sojourner just to get the link on the page as I don't know if I can edit.

I've worked with decks like this before. Cards you might consider are Grand Architect (along with some random blue creatures). Mirrorworks , this is such a funny card when used with spine and venser. As it'll start blowing up a couple permanents every time you bounce the spine. Some other win cons would be good too like Myr Battlesphere and Wurmcoil Engine

I had a deck similar to this one, except for Venser, the Sojourner . The Spine is great when you can bounce it over and over again.
