Bark at the Moon

I found this deck online for a perfect budget price of about $20, and was wondering if it would be viable still?

I was thinking of substituting Gatstaf Shepherd  Flip for Wolfbitten Captive  Flip but I've never played werewolves

any comments or suggestions for the deck are greatly appreciated

Wolfbitten Captive  Flip is cheaper, yes, but you need to continually dump mana into it to make up for that. I don't play Standard, though, so I can't offer any true advice.

I don't play standard either, I just play with friends who use whatever cards we want. Thanks for the tip!

use cards like Ghor-Clan Rampager and Wasteland Viper for their Bloodrush abilities you get a free boost with out having to dump a spell and possibily reverting your wolves back to Human form. Wolfbitten Captive  Flip is a acceptable 1 drop, but you'll need to dump mana into him to make him viable. Young Wolf is a great 1 drop alternative who happens to have Undying. If you're not looking at the standard card pool you can look to get some older dual lands like Copperline Gorge or Gruul Turf for pretty cheap. Mondronen Shaman  Flip is a pretty great werewolf once she's flipped (and stuck there with Immerwolf ) as she'll shock the opponent with every spell. If you can get Huntmaster of the Fells  Flip he is totally worth it (and will likely drop pretty cheap post rotation) Take a look at my casual werewolf deck for other ideas. My friends hate it when I bust it out lol Team Jacob's Wolfpack Although I've tweaked it more so and left the digital version here slightly outdated...

I was wondering if Instigator Gang  Flip would help in place of Gatstaf Shepherd  Flip . I'm just not feeling the intimidate, as populated centaurs are green, and my friend loves his populate. Is it too slow for the deck for 4 mana? Should I opt for another 1 drop? Young Wolf Or just keep the intimidate in for matches not against green meanies..I'm a bit worried about getting stuck with no creatures and a bloodrush card in my hand, as any passives on the field wont apply to it. I may buy 2-4 Ghor-Clan Rampager to play test them, does it make a big difference in wins for these decks?

i decided to go with 2 Instigator Gang  Flip for extra pump, and got all 4 Ghor-Clan Rampager . I also chose to go with Wolfbitten Captive  Flip 's over Young Wolf 's, simply because there are a couple werewolf only buffs it can take advantage of.

Gatstaf Shepherd  Flip is a solid card. A bear that can become a 3/3 with a mono-coloured intimidate isn't bad. I'd still use it.

the only reason i'm not using it, is because my friends main decks have green.. populate, g/w enchants and g/b scavange. I will get 4 for a sideboard though, thanks!

Ah okay, those things always depend on your meta, but if you're up against new opponents I'd main it,
