Putting together a G/B deck sounds like something interesting to me because it's different than stuff I've built before. So I was wondering, what are your opinions on cards like Deadbridge Chant and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord . I'm gonna put Lotleth Troll in and they all seem like they would work together. Another route I was thinking of going is using Lotleth Troll , Korozda Guildmage , Corpsejack Menace , and Varolz, the Scar-Striped because they seem like they all would work together as well. I was just kind of wondering what everyone thought of these cards, are they viable options??
well it would be standard, and depending on which group of cards I use the strategies would be different. With Lotleth Troll , Deadbridge Chant , and Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord the idea would be to discard creature cards to pump the troll and fill the graveyard with creatures for Jarad. Also, I think the Korozda Guildmage would work with these cards, because I can sac creatures to pump jarad and fill the battlefield with tokens.
With Lotleth Troll , Korozda Guildmage , Corpsejack Menace and Varolz, the Scar-Striped , the idea would be to discard creatures to add counters to the troll that double with the menace out and be able to scavange the creatures that I sac for more counters. Also the guildmage would let me sac a creature that I can scavenge and give me chump tokens to regenerate Varolz with if necessary.
obviously those aren't the complete decks just some ideas I was thinking about so I can start to build and tweak the decks as needed with other cards

I'm not really asking for deck help. I'm wondering, what are peoples opinions of these cards individually. Like, is Deadbridge Chant really worth it for 6 mana? Or does it just appear more useful than it actually plays, and is Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord really as good as he seems or does his casting cost make him too difficult to realistically play on a consistent basis? Those are the kinds of things that I'm asking, especially since there is no deck to speak of. These aren't really cards that I'm familiar with so I'm just wondering how well they have worked out for other people.

Well, what you really seem to be asking is whether these cards are worth including in a theoretical GB build.
Deadbridge Chant is bad outside of EDH because its mana cost is too prohibitive for 60-card use.
Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord is also hard to use outside of EDH.
Korozda Guildmage doesn't fit with the other cards in that list.

I guess it is a theoretical deck that I'm considering these cards for, but I'm more or less trying to find out more about the cards and how well they do what they are supposed to do before I really put any serious consideration into them.
I kinda figured Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord might pose some difficulty casting since it's double B and double G. One thing I'm wondering though, is with all of the ramp available in green like Elvish Mystic and Sylvan Caryatid , do you still think the 6 mana cost for Deadbridge Chant is still prohibitive? I'm thinking in an extremely creature heavy deck, when it's ability triggers during your upkeep, your almost always going to randomly choose a creature which basically gives you a free creature on the battlefield every turn. Also, I think your right with Korozda Guildmage not really fitting with the rest, I was talking about sacrificing creatures and then started thinking about Lotleth Troll and I must have just had sacrifice stuck in my head because I confused myself with the troll's ability and was thinking the the tokens could be used to pump the troll or regen Varolz, the Scar-Striped but after I realized I had confused myself it became apparent the guildmage wasn't going to be as useful as I thought

Deadbridge Chant is still tricky. Technically, you can use it in a deck. However, its actual usefulness will depend heavily on the deck itself. Some things are better decided after you've begun a rough shell.

Well since I've started this thread, I've had some discussion in another thread about some other stuff and have started to put together a couple of rough ideas as for how the deck will look now. I know for sure I'll have Lotleth Troll , Corpsejack Menace and Varolz, the Scar-Striped in there. The thinking behind adding in Deadbridge Chant is that in an extremely creature heavy deck, with around 28-30 creatures, the self mill will put somewhere between 5-10 creatures in the graveyard. Then using the ability of Lotleth Troll I'll be discarding more creatures into the graveyard, increasing the likelihood that during my upkeep a creature is randomly chosen. Also, with all of the creatures in the graveyard I have plenty of creatures that I can scavenge using Varolz, the Scar-Striped 's ability and have Corpsejack Menace double the counters that are coming into play from the scavange. Obviously they won't all be on the battlefield every time, but they are the heart of the deck so it's also not unlikely.

It's hard to tell you much without knowing what the deck's format is, or what your strategy entails.
