What would be a better 2-drop for RDW?

Hi all,

I'm torn between putting in Rakdos Shred-Freak or Gore-House Chainwalker in my RDW.

In your opinion, what would be a better addition?

Thanks!

I would go for the Shred-freak for the haste. Unleash is nice but you sacrifice a blocker if you use it, with haste at least you get to make use of it and are still able to use him as a chump blocker if need be.

I'd use Gore-House Chainwalker . Itys more durable and hits harder. Honorable mention, used in some lists are Lightning Mauler and Mogg Flunkies . I assume you already are using Ash Zealot

SHilton, you make a choice either way. You can keep the chainwalker behind as a blocker 2/1 as well, plus if you plan to win by turn five, the chainwalkerw ill deal 9 damage by then with no blockers, and the chainwalker will deal only 8. ALso, he will trade with a single lingering soul or mana dork, and be eaten whole by Thragtusk .

Personally I like Lightning Mauler over anything else, because it gives haste to another creature, plus itll have hast itself if you bond it as you drop it. Plus it provides more versitility late game giving you the option to say tap a Krenko as he hits the field for massive token advantage.

Just a thought. Good luck man.

Oh at first i was like all Curse of Stalked Prey , but then i realized that you had two options we should choose from...

It depends, do you have things in the deck that gives haste? if yes, then it's definitely Gore-House Chainwalker vote from me.
