I'll have the deck up in a sec. I'm still creating it. and it's going to be a modern so it doesn't really matter.
I was just going to see on which has more value per mana cost before I put the deck up.
Give me a sec and I'll put it up.

Honestly neither, but of the two I would pick Seraph of the Sword because it's more resilient, has a better body, and has evasion. The one extra mana is a small price to pay for a much better creature.

I'd have to see the deck, but unless you are comboing off Soulcage Fiend , I'd also go with Seraph of the Sword for the reasons listed by EvenDryke.
However, from what little I know of Modern, neither of those are going to be particularly powerful choices, I think.

Here's the Deck:Holy War
I guess it's listed as legacy since Dark Ritual isn't in modern.

Seraph is better. I'd list it as casual, while it is legacy legal, it isn't legacy competitive.

Yeah I've heard some combos in legacy are absolutely ridiculous.
What do you think of the deck? And am I going to be fine with Seraph of the Sword ? Or is out really a bad card?

The deck looks ok for a casual deck, but I really can't tell you how well it will do. It depends on what everyone else in your playgroup is running really. Personally, I'd run a few 1 or 2 drop creatures in case you don't draw the rituals, but again, I don't know your playgroup.

There's 8 of those in there with Cathedral Sanctifier and High Priest of Penance . It's that not enough?

For what? They seem very unrelated, different CMC, colors, abilities. One is also in standard and the other isn't. What are we judging them on?
