Which Sword do I pick?

Deck Help forum

I want to make a U/W or G/U/W deck, and I haven't decided on if I want to just use cheap cards or throw in several swords. So I'm stuck on which one or two to use, which would be better for a deck of those colors? I'm leaning more toward Feast and Famine or War and Peace, but Body and Mind would be okay too. What are your thoughts?

Feast or Famine is probably the best sword in general but it depends on what deck you are facing.

Sword of Body and MindMTG Card: Sword of Body and Mind is usually the worst, it's really only good if your main goal is to mill them, which isn't a very good option right now with all these graveyard shenanigans going on. I'm pretty sure that Sword of Feast and FamineMTG Card: Sword of Feast and Famine is what was used with caw-blade, but now Sword of War and PeaceMTG Card: Sword of War and Peace is usually "the best" and has the most damage output.

Feast and Famine is still the best. War and Peace is good if you want a more aggressive deck, but in a control setting patience is still your greatest virtue, thus feast and famine is still better imo than war and peace.

War and Peace is way better right now, It's good against control and good against Moorland HauntMTG Card: Moorland Haunt

I have to disagree. It will certainly end the game faster, but imo feast and famine makes it far more effective in the long run as I can then always have mana available. War and peace does nothing against Doom blade/go for the throat etc. Sure it'll get your creature through against those decks, but they won't last long in most cases. I was running 3x war and peace and 2x feast and famine. I have since removed 2x war and peace and put in another feast and famine and it's working far better now.
