Who is good at building sideboards?

I'm looking to make a sideboard for deck:counter-productive An Undying/Evolve aggro-ish build.

Looking to make the build stronger v.s. control and am at a loss of where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Also, I'm taking suggestions for the main deck as well.

You should identify what your problem cards will be and then find cards that answer that specific card as well as other cards, so you can get max value out of a single sideboard card.

You should have no worries about targeted removal with Simic Charm and you also are resilient to sweepers thanks to undying. Your primary concerns should be planeswalkers, enchantments, and large threats, at least from a control standpoint. Consider Cyclonic Rift , Sundering Growth /Naturalize , and maybe even Bramblecrush or Pithing Needle for those problems. Ground Seal would also help against Snapcaster Mage .

Not really sure WHAT cards are going to be problem cards. Pithing Needle and Ground Seal /card:Grafdigger's Cage seem like good inclusions to the sideboard. Cyclonic Rift seems good considering the ramp available to me from Gyre Sage so that will go in 100%. 3x each probably so that means 9x. What about the last 6x?

Don't do card:Grafdigger's Cage. It shuts down your own undying shenanigans.

To be honest, these are two colors I'm not very familiar at deckbuilding with, so I'm going to let the rest of the community tag team me on this one. My only other suggestion is Dispel or Negate for card:Sphinx's Revelation and card:Aurelia's Fury.

I think counter-spells are going to be your best friends in the sideboard on this one.

Consider Dissipate , Negate , Essence Scatter , Spell Rupture (not yet uploaded to TO), Syncopate .

3x Spell Rupture

2x Ground Seal

3x Pithing Needle

3x Essence Scatter

4x Syncopate

Having access to Gyre Sage the X costs of cards like Syncopate make it really easy to do what I need to.

Seems solid. Perhaps drop one Pithing Needle and one Syncopate for two Cyclonic Rift ?
