Work in Voice of Resurgence?

So luck of the draw I have a Voice of Resurgence . I have been playing Boros and recently converted my deck from a straight forward Aggro to a Boros Token FNM Deck. I saw this card at $50 and thought I'd be crazy not to use it. I see a lot of G/W token decks but don't really want o flip. Should I splash green just to get this card in or not bother since it is just 1 and sell it to buy cards on my theme.

Splashing a color in your deck for a single creature is not a good idea. If you had other cards to add into it, that may be worth it. Turn your boros tokens into a Naya deck. Adding the green will allow you to ramp and fix your colors while also getting access to pump spells. If you want a more aggro naya deck, try Burning-Tree Emissary and Strangleroot Geist .

IMHO it's not likely to lose value as it's seeing play in modern, but unless you want to splurge on at least two more of them I wouldn't bother splashing. I had the good fortune of pulling 3 from packs (one pack was FNM winnings so basically cost me a buck) so I went ahead and bought one to fill out my set figuring it was basically half price at that point.
Guess it just comes down to if you need the $40-50 now or if you have the patience to see if you can luck into a few pack pulls in the future maybe get a playset.
