The aggro infect deck build around Glistener Elf can do well.

You could go for a control setup based around card advantage and counterspells (Augury Owl , Preordain , Cancel , Mana Leak , etc.) but blue lacks the necessary heavy-hitters.

You could do green ramp with elves and some of the core-set wurms as your bombs. Use Llanowar Elves , card:Ezuri's Archers, etc. for the smaller guys, ramp spells like Cultivate and Harrow , then combine Yavimaya Wurm , Spined Wurm , Giant Growth , Unnatural Predation , etc. for a finisher.

UG Pump infect is pretty strong for commons. Glistener Elf , Blighted Agent , and a ton of pump. Good luck!

A UBW Defender deck does well, using Stalwart Shield-Bearers for defense, then Overgrown Battlement for ramp with X mana cards, which there are many in common, then Vent Sentinel for the killing blow.

Aura Gnarlid decks work very well too since he becomes unblockable and very powerful very quickly and incredibly hard to kill if you use the Umbras, especially Eel Umbra , as it has flash.

Monored Sligh could be really strong. Just a bunch of a cheap burn spells and some cheap red creatures could pretty easily take down any other deck.

not sure why everyone is saying go infect I just did a little bit of research and it looks to me that the most useful standard pauper deck still uses zendikar block I would say Prophetic Prism , Glint Hawk , Kor Skyfisher , Squadron Hawk and work your deck around those. the ability to keep bouncing the prism and keep drawing cards just seems like the more consistant way to go. or just look at cards and see what works. I'll make a U/W pauper deck and see what I can do.

well i tried but im not as good at building pauper decks anyway just keep looking at cards and find the cheap combos that work for you. on a note try and use cards that have additional effects like Perilous Myr is good in almost any pauper deck.

Pauper RDW is probably a better option, to be honest. It will interact with all of the UG infect decks, and it will most likely outrace or out-tempo all the other decks.

I'll post my critique for your UG deck on that page.

I agree with Elite. his list is very good. I also think you might want to try to fit Searing Blaze in there, but I haven't tested the format so I wouldn't know. But yeah it definitely seems sickest.
