Hey all!
I was wondering if my deck could be considered a combo deck. Wondering because my local shop is having a small contest to see who can make the a standard combo deck work and this is my potential submission. Also, if you know of how it could be improved, please feel free to leave some suggestions. Thanks in advance!
Hmmmm, then is it really impossible to make a viable combo deck in standard?

Just to be clear, a combo deck is one that utilizes interactions like Leonin Relic-Warder +Phyrexian Metamorph to create hard or soft locks or infinitely combo out.
This isn't a combo deck so much as it is a human aggro deck.

But that would mean Tinker + Blightsteel Colossus , Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage , and Hermit Druid + Reanimate + Sutured Ghoul also don't qualify as combos?
Sorry, maybe I'm lacking a fundamental piece for this challenge. Can someone explain to me what combo deck actually is? My impression was it's a small group of cards that synergize so well that they place an opponent in a position that is almost impossible/impossible to come back from and that minimize the possibilities of the combo being interrupted. If that's wrong, would someone kindly fix my understanding? Thanks!

Tinker into Blightsteel Colossus doesn't really qualify as a combo to me. It's just a cute interaction.
Dark Depths + Vampire Hexmage decks are based around an interaction, but again, it's not really a true "combo" deck. It's borderline, though; I'm sure you'll find players who would say it does meet the tenets of a combo deck.
I don't really know what Hermit Druid + Reanimate + Sutured Ghoul is meant to accomplish.

To really be a "combo deck" in its purest sense, you have to win as a direct result of some combo going off.
Storm decks are an easy example of this. If the spell with Storm resolves, you usually instantly win. Infinite mana decks work similarly, in that you combo into infinite mana, then cast a spell with "X" in it to win the game.
I would classify your deck as an aggro deck that relies on card synergy to set up a winning board presence.

Could you maybe classify it as a aggro-combo-thingy-sorta-kinda-maybe.....? Haha, I just really don't want to have to go back to the drawing board. Alright, thanks for the help guys. I think I'd better get back to brewing T-T

There's a difference between a combo and an interaction. A combo is a way of abusing the interaction between two or more cards in such a way that they end the game or create a lock. An interaction is just synergy between cards. In your deck, there are interactions between most of your cards, but there isn't really anything that could be called a true combo.

Grimgrin, Corpse-Born +Rooftop Storm +Gravecrawler +Diregraf Captain is a combo as you deal infinite damage with it. you could fill up space in there with more zombie based cards or control cards

Aluren + Parasitic Strix + Cavern Harpy is a combo, among my favorite.

Another Standard combo:
Archaeomancer + Gilded Lotus + Ghostly Flicker = Infinite flickering
add Arcane Melee or Captain of the Mists for infinite mana
add Vigilante Justice for infinite damage
add Talrand, Sky Summoner for infinite drakes (tons of ways to get this effect)
add Healer of the Pride for infinite life
add Soul of the Harvest for infinite card draw

It's close to a combo. The reason it's not a full combo is that it's honestly not that difficult to counter. Your opponent has four full turns to stop you, and that's 4 assuming you get a perfect hand. If you had a way to go for the full 20 damage all in 1 turn without much setup required, it would be closer to a combo, but it still gets stopped in its tracks by something as measly as minor life gain. Even assuming you did have a true combo, your deck itself is not a combo deck, because it's not geared exclusively towards getting your "combo" off.

Well, it's not pure combo, it's more aggro-combo.
