Zedruu Trolling EDH Deck Help

Deck Help forum

Hey all, I've got a Zedruu EDH deck called Zedruu, the Asshole.

The basic idea is to drop defense spells (lots of things with Propoganda effects).

There are a few cards that generate tokens (Assemble the Legion , Kazuul, Tyrant of the Cliffs , Utvara Hellkite ) that could be used to gain the favors of other players.

Probably the most fun in this deck will involve giving away awful things like Steel Golem or Rust Elemental . Azor's Elocutors may be interesting to give away (and possibly take back with Homeward Path !).

Cause chaos with enchantments and sneak in/steal a bomb to do damage.

I need some suggestions on what to cut from the deck (I'm currently way over the 100 card count). Any suggestions on what to remove/replace?

play a deck that focuses on HA! HA! you cannot attack me

such as

Propaganda , Norn's Annex , Ghostly Prison and so forth

then play cards that allow you to manipulate the field well

Master Warcraft , Odric, Master Tactician , Fight to the Death and stuff like that

then play token producers that allow you to benefit from Zedruu's abilities

Death by Dragons is the absolute best, Forbidden Orchard and the Hunted Cards such as Hunted Dragon and Hunted Phantasm

sit back, let everyone think you are a group hug deck and then BANG you win

also

Felidar Sovereign don't leave home without it

Nice recommendations. The problem with the hunted cards is that since they enter the battlefield under an opponent's control they wouldn't belong to me, meaning I wouldn't benefit from Zedruu's ability with them :(

I'm trying to juggle defense with offense, it wouldn't be super fun to only turtle the whole match. I do like the idea of using Master Warcraft during an exchange between two other opponents that I'm not involved in haha

Delay . Oh. You wanted that Giant Growth didn't you? Maybe next time. :D

Soul Conduit . Rather self-explanatory.

Actually that is not true, the ruling for the owner of a token is "the player who owns AND controls the effect which put the tokens into the battlefield."

From Brand:

10/1/2009 A token's owner is the player under whose control it entered the battlefield.
