Anybody Else Have This Happen?

I noticed today when going through my stuff I have a mis-cut Beacon of Destruction from Mind vs. Might duel decks. Has anyone else seen something like this before? Is there any value in the mis-cut?

Just when the card is like 1/3 of other card or something like that, even so, I don't think this will make it extremely expensive.

Still weird to see it in a duel deck product where you would think the printing would have been a bit more controlled.

It's really hard to appraise a misprint without pictures.

Also, I don't think there's any substantial difference in quality control between duel decks and other products. I would assume that every release uses the same basic printing and cutting processes and can therefore suffer the same errors (well, maybe with the exception of pack crimping errors, since duel decks aren't packaged as boosters).

Its not a severe mis-cut but you can clearly see the top has almost no black border.

I couldn't imagine that being worth any different.. It's almost unnoticeable..

A few millimeters in any direction doesn't really qualify as a miscut. The card needs to be missing a border and part of the inner frame in order to be worth any extra. The misprints that are worth a lot are those that include portions of other cards.

My buddy pulled an extreme miscut during origins. FOIL, half Gideon half nissa double sided (bottom was Gideon's top on both sides, top was the lower half of nissa) had both creature and walker side. It's stuff like that (and Pokmon misprints) that make a lot of money. Still cool tho

I have a precon Daxos Edh deck that was pretty miscut. Not too bad, but you can see the start of other cards on all of em. It's pretty neat.

I still find it funny that miscuts are worth money to people.

Like you'll pay good money to see evidence that WotC screwed up. Even though they do it once a month anyhow.
