Are foil misprints worth more or less?

I opened a Modern Masters and my foil is Surgical Extraction, but there is a really major printing error across the middle, where the ink ghosted of the foil. Would that take away from it's value?

True misprints are never worth less than their regular counterparts.
Also, you need to post pics if you're asking about a specific card.

I'd call that a true misprint; but you're only going to get what someone is willing to pay for it.

That's pretty interesting. Yeah, if you find someone who collects 'em, than yeah. You could get more than normal, but by how much, that's up to who your buyer is.

I'm pretty sure there's a Facebook group that specializes in misprints. You might be able to find some interest there.

ThatJunkMage may be able to shed some light on it.
I think it is really cool. No idea what to value it at though.

That is a multi-card ink bubble. They happen when the inked page doesn't fit perfectly onto the cardboard that is running underneath it. Usually they aren't worth too much, but this one is especially huge, and if you can find the other cards, you've probably got a cash cow. As a single piece, I'd personally value it at +150% to anyone interested in collecting them, and +50% if I were to sell it in a shop. + like 20,000% if you can somehow obtain every card effected.

Based on the size, I would assume that this bubble hits at least four cards, maybe more. It's almost impossible to find all of the other pieces though. Try Reddit.
