Are these repacks decent?

I've seen this on ebay, and it obviously looks like a decent deal. Are these repacks worth buying? The guy's obviously not a scammer, but I was wondering if these are a decent investment.

Honestly there is still some dishonesty with this. This seller can repack any old rare and send that out and once in a while send something good but I would certainly not expect anything too big, why would they want to do that?

It seems like it be an ok deal. Just don't get high hopes on pulling anything great.

They are not going to go through all the trouble if they are not going to make money. Sure, you could get lucky an awesome/good card but more often then not you wont get anything too great.

all depends on how lucky you feel haha

I've bought repacks a few times... never been thrilled or too disappointed. Its def a buy at your own risk type of thing

Seems legit. I'd buy them if I could, they're cheaper than the repacks I've bought before.

A shop that I once visited sold these same things for $1. You knew you were getting pretty bad cards, but i've pulled some decent cards for my EDH deck out of them. I wouldn't buy in unless you just want some cool or unexpected cheap things.

The key is determining how these guys make their money. Most of the time repacks are put together by individuals who have bought a ton of boxes (or somebody's collection) and stripped them of their most valuable rares/mythics. They are then left with a lot of cards that might be cool to play with but are definitely not the Goyfs and Snapcasters of those sets.

To further make a profit they then take these remaining cards are put them in repacks and sell them off to the public. They can throw in the occasional money card to make to make the gamble aspect of the buy more exciting.

If that is cool with you, then go for it. If not then I'd pass.

Moved to Economics.

I refuse to buy repacks for the same reason I refuse to open regular packs: the chance of you getting your money's worth is very low.

Best advice I can give, buy singles. If you are looking for cards for a deck you should never buy packs singles is more reliable. Sure you can pull something towards your deck in a booster but the odds are against you and you were more likely to save money if you just bought the card itself. Lastly these are 7 card "Re-packs" the chances of this dude sending you his black lotus is the most unlikely story unless he to truly has no idea what is in the packs.

If you are expecting to not get any valuable cards then you'll probably be content with your purchase, 3 random rares and a promo for 4 bucks aint terrible.

Shop a while ago did these for a dollar. I would not trust a shop over ebay though. I don't think there is a chance for a lotus there.

I pulled a Mox Emerald , and a Volcanic Island from it. I think those were in the same day.

Okay, this information is conflicting. It could be a decent investment, but unfortunately my luck with packs is abysmal, so I think I'll pass.
