Hello everyone. First of, I'm currently a Limited and Standard player only. I'm looking to get into Modern and I'm currently fiddling around with a Mill Deck. Whether or whether not Mill can be competitive in Modern or not, whether or whether not Ashiok makes sense in a mill deck or not isn't anything I want to discuss here.
Point being, Ashiok pretty solidly goes for 9 Euros in Germany, which equals $9.60. I think it's a decent price for what Ashiok does, but the question I actually have is: Will Ashioks price drop (significantly) once he rotates our of Standard? Does the card see play in Modern or anywhere else?
Thanks in advance!
yes it is not a huge card people go for in modern, however, there is a decklist of not a mil but a modern BUG (Sultai) control deck that had Ashiok and it did really well... the deck won a SCG Open.

thats not to say however that before he rotates up with all the blue black love in standard right now that he wont jump up for a minuet... but then he will fall most likely..

ashiok is a house imo in legacy vs fair decks such as d/t, rug delver, and such

In legacy ashiok is competing with lilly in every deck that would run either. and apart from being FOW fodder,Lilly is stronger.

He sees a bit of Eternal play. He could stay around 4-8$ post rotation. Foils more, of course.

I hear Ashiok is also really good in Tiny Leaders. There are only a few Planeswalkers < 4CMC so it makes sense. If Tiny Leaders holds it's hype, I think Ashiok could keep a fair bit of it's value post-rotation.

Yes it will drop, and other then Casual play it sees next to zero play out of standard.
