Behold the beyond, the new Discard your hand tutor for 3 cards from SOI, is $9.99 on Ebay for preorder. My question is whether it'll go up or if I can wait and see if I open one in my box.

Cards usually, (if not all of the time) drop like a stone after release. I'd wait and try to pull one.

However, this card will end up being a bulk rare. I will be genially surprised if it remains over $2 after the first month of the set being legal. It's very high-costed cmc-wise, and even in the older formats getting to 8 mana to find a broken combo is tough. I wouldn't touch it until the set has been out for a while.
