dice seem retarded to be used in this modern era, does your phone not have an app for this? ..just one more nerd piece to carry around

Dice are used for counters, tokens, life totals, rolling dice, etc, etc... dice are 100% necessary for magic.

..you definitely "etc, etc" alot there, however that doesnt change the fact that i have all of that readily available on my phone. ..exception for tokens, but Wizards of the Coast knew we would need that, so they even made them for us (btw, you using "100% necessary" seems a little extreme, dont you think?)

I'd love to know how you keep track of counters on a phone. Which app does that for you, and how do you remember which card has which counters on it? This would really help for running Cathars' Crusade in my Trostani, Selesnya's Voice EDH deck.

Unless you are after spindown dice, to which I have never seen a budget option, you should be able to find cheap packs of dice everywhere on the internet.

@ScavDingo Have you ever played EDH? The board states get very confusing very quickly. Whether or not someone can keep track of all the counters in their head, saving that mental energy for something actually useful is better in the long run.

If you want something fancy you could try to find electronic counters, I remember someone trying to advertise such a thing on here a while back.

SkateandDestroy, you can get an exclusive D20 dice from the expansion if you purchase a Fat Pack, something to consider
