We Have 3 new planeswalkers; Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Ob Nixilis Reignited and Kiora, Master of the Depths.
I am personally quite excited for both Gideon and Kiora. However I notice that looking at the price histories of most planeswalkers they plummet fast. Do you think this is likely to happen again?
I have also read quite a bit of speculation that expeditions and tango lands are going to have a big suppressing effect on nearly all other card prices.

Planeswalkers drop in value because they typically aren't typically used once they rotate out of standard, are prone to Duel Deck reprints, and because the set is opened enough that the supply increases dramatically (you rarely run a planeswalker as a 4-of).
I can see all three seeing some play, at least until Oath of the Gatewatch comes out. So their prices probably won't drop too quickly, but they will decrease unless they are a key piece of a deck.
As for the tangos and expeditions affecting prices, it's probably true. Lots of the set will probably be opened, so cheaper cards that will only see some play, like Blight Herder, will become very easy to acquire. As such, their price will be pretty low.

Don't forget that people are opening a lot of BFZ for full art lands too.

With the sheer mass of the set being opened (it has expeditions and is the first set in a block), I doubt many of the cards will go above 10-15.
