Just traded a Wooded Foothills and a Thoughtseize for a foily Bitterblossom. I hear it's been recently unbanned and is currently being splashed in... Something lol. I'm not too worried about profit er anything but what's the outlook on the price considering the upcoming gp?

Not well. It sees almost no play in anything outside of EDH and Modern BW tokens. If anything is say you made a poor decision as the Wooded Foothills and the Thoughtseize will only go up.

Unfortunately, it looks like you probably got taken on that trade. Blossom has been unbanned for over 6months now, and has made very little impact to Modern. Outside of Tokens, it's only used as 1-2 copies and with the recent reprinting it's ceiling isn't very high. HOWEVER, foils are highly wanted for EDH and in Modern, so you shouldn't have any trouble offloading it for something you want later on. As far as a price spec? It's not good though.

It's also one of the best arts in MTG history, so collectors might want the foil copies down the road. However, I don't think it will nearly be the value of the Morningtide printing.

Bad trade. Was it the Modern Masters printing?

That being said Bitterblossom is seeing more modern play. I'm running 4 in Rock and MTGtop8 has it in a recent Jund list.

I think the price will eventually start to rise.

I mean it hasn't been in modern much because of all the aggro but the card is great no doubt about it. Personally I want to see the card succeed more than Dark Confidant does.
