Breeding Pool

I had a couple in a cart at Cardkingdom waiting on store credit to process. The price on them went up a couple bucks this morning when my store credit went through.

Is $13.49 (more then a dollar over the other sites) a good price? Is it about to spike hard, or did they spike it on me?

Well, this is what TCGPlayer has listed for them. If you were paying for Gatecrash prints, you got screwed. If for Dissension, I'd say you did pretty well.

It's not the worst thing to have happened.

It is gatecrash. I have not gotten them yet. I am still debating on it. Wanted to ask you guys first.

I was wondering if you guys thought that the price for breeding pool across the board was going to gain a couple bucks soon or not.

I thought it was weird that it raised at the same time as my store credit processed. It is higher then Steam Vents now, and I thought that one was the go-to for most expensive shock.

Hmm, their original art ones are 16. They really are not that far apart.

Or do I try to switch to grixis delver from RUG?

What does the price of shocklands have to do with what kind of Delver you play?

Cause I have no idea what I am doing.

I am trying to build it budget, and the change to grixis that I would make is not huge. Lands are the biggest deal.

Didgeridooda i've built a lot of budget delver decks in grixis, rug, ur, and ug. If you want to put up a deck list I'll gladly take a look

You should probably test things on cockatrice before diving head first into an expensive modern deck. How do you even know you'll like playing it?

I played chief bell a bit in budget modern, and liked it. Total investment for that deck is going to be 10-20 bucks ideally. Thanks to having most of the lands, and smalls already. Just need 8 cards for the deck, and I have some store credit, and trying to use Pucatrade a little too.

Budget modern is soooo good. Very fun.

I agree, but I turned that one into an almost competitive modern deck lol.

How are you guys defning "budget" for these matches? Sounds fun.

Budget modern is under 100 I would say.

The deck I am working on is not really going to be that, but budget modern is really fun.
