Card miscut/misprint

I have this card, Seek the Horizon that the card is not centered. The black is too big on one side, and the art and text box is not centered. Is there any value to it?

Misprints typically add to the value of a card, but only if the card is in demand. Seek the Horizon misprints probably don't have enough value to warrant selling them off. Some people might want to trade for it, if they just like to collect misprints. But it's not like the value will be even over a buck or two.

Seek the Horizon sees minimal play in EDH alongside a very short list of Commanders. As cool as the card itself probably is, it's just not worth anything special.

I thought it might double the value of the card, which is sitting at .15 mid TCGplayer.com, so, yeah, .30 is about right...lol.

Thanks for the responses.

I feel you. I had a Red Haste 1/1 Human Creature Token from a pack of Avacyn Restored (I think) that was crimped halfway up the card. I put it on Ebay and it sat for 7 months at $1 and nobody even messaged me about it. It's LOOKS cool and I can't do anything with it aside from just giving it to someone, so I'll keep it as a personal value thing.

Once got a foil Delver of Secrets  Flip miscut. Still have it, but I don't like foils so I don't know what to do with it. It just sits in my foil binder looking pretty.

A miscue foil Delver of Secrets  Flip is something that could actually met you some real money. Foil Delvers currently sit at $17 on TCG mid and they'll only get more expensive. If it's a PLAYABLE miscut card, that'll make it worth a pretty hefty sum. If it's miscut so badly that it shows another card on it, then it's probably not legal for use.

Of course, there's no easy way to determine the value of a miscut/misprint card. If you want to, I'd put it on Ebay (if you're on there) and start an auction for it. People will see it and I don't think you'd have to worry about it going for less than $25 - that is, as long as you know how to Ebay.

Epochalyptik could probably give you some real pointers.

At the time that I got the miscut, Delver was still standard legal and in print, so I was told mine would only go for about $5. I'm glad I kept him. I expected it to go up but I did not expect a minimal $17 value; thanks for enlightening me. It is legal for play, it's just not properly bordered.

codebread is it just off center a bit, or is one side of the border missing? I am curious as to how misscut it is. I know there are a few people here that collect that kind of stuff. I have thought about it, just don't really know how. Do you have a picture by chance?

Unfortunately, I don't have a picture. I was thinking of posting one until I realized I have no way to do so. It's not that big a deal of a miscut. It's not centered properly; the top border is much thinner than it should be. I don't know the standard measurements of Magic card borders, but I'd say it's maybe one or two millimeters wide (I don't have a ruler either. Amazing, huh).

I would say worth a little more then avg price. 20-22 or so. Could probably get 25 from someone who really likes delver.
