I recently went on vacation to the UK and while I was there I picked up two packs from recent sets and the packs felt heavier then the us packs even before I opened them, when I opened the packs the ink was even and well saturated. They where the magic cards I missed. Incase you've only been playing mtg in the states for a few years you won't know the massive decline in quality of the card stock and massive printing issues.
How can wotc put out the same cards but have the quality be planes apart? Clearly the European factory knows what there doing why can't they replicate it in the states?
Do you think that in a few years time when these cards start going up in price will there a be a difference in the price of the us version vs the EU/UK versions?

I am a Europe-only player, I have visited all the prereleases and bought at least a booster of all sets released in the past few years. Aside from getting several Kaladesh boosters with washed out colors, I have not noticed any issues with printing of the cards.
