Changing Seasons

So everyone is saying this is "modern season" but I can't find a definitive seasonal schedule. The closest I've come is this Wikipedia page which basically says we have a bunch of standard GPs coming up with the next modern event being GP Minneapolis May 10-11. Does SCG run an entirely separate seasonal schedule and THAT'S what everyone is referring to?
This applies to MTG Economics in a glaring way. I bought up a bunch of modern staples before they shot up and I'm looking to cash in, but I don't want to sell if there's another huge modern tournament coming up and the prices are going up even further. But if everything is going Standard (which seems to be the case for GPs at least) maybe now is the best time to sell.
Does anyone have a good source of information regarding upcoming "seasons?" It would greatly help me with planning my MTG investments.
Thanks guys!

Phyrexian Obliterator has jumped up 6 dollars in the last week or so, even though no decks using him were in the top 8, or maybe even top 16 of the GP Richmond, so I think prices of modern staples are going to continue to increase throughout the summer.

Magiclover318, that's probably due to the numerous articles on the obliterator rock deck that were going around for a while.

I assume they will continue to climb. Right up until WotC announces Chronicles 2 with fetches and all the other stuff people need to get into the format. That's what I'm most worried about and don't want to get caught with a huge stock of cards that are suddenly losing value instead of gaining. If there's another modern PTQ coming up I'll likely wait at least until after that to unload.
I'm thinking I'll sell fetches first. They seem to have stabilized for the past week or so. I'll hold onto stuff like Cryptic Command , Tarmogoyf and Dark Confidant since they've already had a reprint and it seems unlikely that they'd get a 3rd printing so close to the 2nd.

I only know of the modern Grand Prix in May coming up, other then that I don't know any PTQ's happening.

@gufymike looks like modern PTQ is June 7th - August 24th, so it makes sense to hold onto stuff until mid/late summer at least. Here's the link to the PTQ "seasonal" schedule. Thanks for the tip.
