Collected Company???

I am building a cube and I don't know if I should trade away my 2 Collected Company's for the cube. Any help appreciated. Is Collected Company going to go up or down in price?

I'd sell now that it's gone up for a safe profit. I bought them at <$5 ea. so selling now at $9-10 sounds like a safe win.

I don't see a significant shift in Collected Company's price anytime soon. It will likely fluctuate a bit, but remain around the $10 mark.

If it lands in a modern deck you can bet it will go up, especially foils, but it's not like you're unloading a bunch of Snapcasters here - trading what you don't need for what you want to play with is usually the best route.

I say it will fluctuate the hen drop a bit then stay around 5-7 mark.

I traded for 2 of them, (one foil, one not) for no reason. When should I sell them?

People have to remember that Collected Company is used as a 4 of whenever it is used as well, in a set that isn't opened as much as KTK (I don't think so anyways). The fact that it is used as a 4 of will keep it's price higher than normal. That and Collected Melira is seeing a rise in play, and it might be here to stay.

The fact that it's seeing Modern play makes me think it will keep its price post-rotation. I'd keep them as they could be the next Birthing Pod, and they could get up to $15-20 a piece. Won't be a huge profit like a Liliana of the Veil but I don't see it dropping much in price. It's one of the few standard cards seeing modern play.

Company has done pretty decently in standard as of late and people are brewing a ton for modern. Right now, it's unclear if it's going to drop. Seriously though, if you actually need the money, you're better off not playing the waiting game and just going for the safe option with immediate rewards.
