Just wondering peoples thoughts on Conspiracy. Do you think prices will continue to rise or fall?

They're already settling down. The money cards are Stifle , Misdirection , foil Brainstorm , foil Pernicious Deed , Exploration , Dack Fayden , and a few others mid-value rares.

The card selection itself has a lot to offer if you wanna build your collection of playable staples for eternal formats like Commander and Legacy. Swords to Plowshares and the aforementioned Brainstorm are good examples of such reprints.

As it stands now, a Conspiracy box isn't a bad investment by any stretch. But unless things change or printing suddenly halts, I don't see too many things going up. They won't stop printing the set anytime very soon. So I'd just say open the sucker, sell the high value singles you don't want, and enjoy the rest.

Prices will eventually go up as less packs are opened and the legacy playables go back up to their December prices (or in the case of Council's Judgment go up to an out of print price). In 2-3 years they should gain a good bit of value, but in the short term they are unlikely to go up since they are still in print.

Yeah, kinda what I was thinking. Wasn't sure how long the print was going to be on it.

Well, Wizards wants to support Conspiracy draft as a fairly permanent event at a lot of LGSs. So I'd imagine we're looking at perhaps 18 months to 2 year's worth of prints? They've also "stated" that they're going to keep printing eternal sets like Commander 2013 for "as long as there is demand." I don't even know what that means and it honestly sounds like bollocks. I think maybe they'll add 3-6 months on print runs, not actually react to marker demands. They've got a ton of other things going on.

Yeh it's talk and in reality bollocks. They say they'll do longer printing runs but evidence of that is yet to be felt. All of my LGSs say they can no longer get the commander precon decks. Similarly, I expect conspiracy to only be supported for a little while but not for much longer.
