Just out of curiosity, does this happen alot? It's a first for me, I attended the prerelease and I noticed a few of my cards end up being crimped in the packaging. Luckily none of the Rares were effected, but in the case that they are is there a way to get replacements? Again, just common stuff this time so not too worried just curious.

Crimping is a packaging error and is generally perceived to increase the value of a card. You could get it replaced if you want, but you're just losing on potential value. Ideally, your rare would be crimped so you could get more out of it in trades or sales.

Also, I'm moving this to Economics because crimping is invariably tied to discussions of value.

Valeron Wardens, Nivix Barrier, a Mountain, and Kytheon's Tactics. No rares, 2 commons, one uncommon and a land.

I also had a few crimps in my prerelease pool. A trend? (I have never seen a crimped card irl until last night)

I think crimped cards are more valuable than non crimped. What cards were they, because starcitygames.com has a misprint and rarities section.
