I'm trying to build a Casual Dark Depths deck, and it is literally the only expensive card in the deck. So, any ideas on if/when it will go back down in price to the $25-30 range?

Perhaps if it stops seeing play in Legacy.

TheHorse Did it not see play in Legacy a couple months ago when it was $25?

As soon as the Jund Depths deck won an Open it shot up.

TurboFagoot OK, I did not know that (don't follow the format closely at all).

It's definitely not ever going back down. It will continue to go up until it plateaus as it's a legacy/casual staple.

Banned in modern yes, legal in legacy though which is where it's played with some frequency. It's not coming down in price on it's own, but it's possible it could be printed in a FTV sometime. It's the kind of card FTV loves.

now that it did well in the open series, all land decks in legacy are adding it. they also already did an ftv lands so im not sure it will get printed in another upcoming ftv but i could be totally wrong. i predict it stayed at this price for a little bit and maybe even steadily rising. i dont see it dropping

FTV: Darkness. FTV: Gods. FTV: Icebound. FTV: Power.

I mean c'mon, the options for these guys are endless. They don't need to just do an all lands FTV to squeeze this in somewhere.
