scrotality, I recommend asking that in the Q&A since they can give a complete answer. It all comes down to timestamps. Whichever is more recent takes precedent. If Blood Moon was out first, then Prismatic Omen is played, Blood Moon is overridden and vice versa

Yea I should have asked elsewhere. Just being lazy :) thanks for the answer though!

Bloodmoon interacts with just nonbasics where omen interacts with all lands so your basic lands would still be all types even after Bloodmoon was played.
January 21, 2016 5:56 a.m.
deltacobra - No they would not. BloodMoon has come down after Prismatic Omen so Bloodmoon now says all those nonbasics are Mountains and only mountains.
I'd look up timestamps as that explains why this works the way it does.
January 21, 2016 6:49 a.m.
How do I unsub from this? It has already gotten out of hand...
January 21, 2016 9:14 a.m.
It looks like Wall of Omens is on it's way up. Not a huge 'spike', but it looks ripe for a buyout.

canterlotguardian says... #13
Myriad Landscape has seen a huge bump in the past week or so. Almost a 5x increase.
January 21, 2016 11:19 a.m.
Which is weird, because it cant even search for wastes.
January 21, 2016 11:24 a.m.
Lightpulsar9 says... #15
NecroPony I'm pretty sure it can search for wastes because it says "basic land" so it makes a bit of sense. It looks like a price spike just due to EDH.
January 21, 2016 11:34 a.m.
canterlotguardian says... #16
Depends on if it has the basic land type "Wastes" and not just the name "Wastes". If not, then it can't search for it.
EDIT: Gatherer says Wastes is not a land type, so it can't be searched for with Myriad Landscape. Fuck, man. That's the whole reason I added ML into my EDH deck, to fetch out my Wastes in case I need to activate my Mirrorpool. Fml.

This is on topic. We were discussing why Myriad Landscape may have seen a price spike, someone suggested an answer why, I refuted it. I am staying on topic.
January 21, 2016 11:47 a.m.
Ardent Plea is getting up there, and non-foil Ardent Plea looks like it could get pretty stupid quickly.
January 21, 2016 2:23 p.m.
Sen Triplets got a big ol spike. My guess is a buyout in response to the recent EDH changes with regards to producing mana.
January 21, 2016 5:40 p.m.
SCG selling Liliana of the Veil at 120 now. God damn.
January 21, 2016 6:19 p.m.
Femme_Fatale says... #22
Stony Silence spiked to double its price. Monastery Mentor is seeing a constant increase in price.
January 21, 2016 6:40 p.m.
Femme_Fatale Stony isn't new but Mentor is...I told my buddies I think Mentor will Top 8 at Pro Tour. Some sort of Esper or Jeskai list. Can't wait to watch.

- Voice of Resurgence plummeted.
- Noble Hierarch is on a steady increase.
- Horizon Canopy is on a steady increase.
January 21, 2016 6:55 p.m.
It's not Modern, but Serra's Sanctum is really starting to gain value. It's up to ~$45 currently.
January 21, 2016 6:56 p.m.
FAMOUSWATERMELON says... #26
Both Leonin Arbiter and Tempt with Vengeance are up to 5$ (MTG Stocks). The Arbiter is fairly explainable, but anyone got any idea about Tempt? Seems like a pretty random card, and the price graph excludes a buyout.
January 21, 2016 7:36 p.m.
FAMOUSWATERMELON, the only thing I can think of is that I love running it in my Omnath, Locus of Rage EDH deck, but I can't imagine that's what driving the price...
January 21, 2016 8:43 p.m.
FAMOUSWATERMELON says... #28
Yeah, it's twice the price of its commander XD I have no idea though. I can't imagine that Casual demand is also asking for the card.
January 21, 2016 8:47 p.m.
Monsmtg It's played in Modern SBs but $10 seems a bit much.
January 21, 2016 9:03 p.m.
GeminiSpartanX says... #32
Attrition has doubled in price in the last week or 2. I don't know if anyone has mentioned that one yet. I'm glad I held on to at least 1 copy.
January 21, 2016 9:29 p.m.
It's funny because I just sleeved up my Attrition.
I wonder what caused it to spike. It's not like it's Legacy/Vintage playable.
January 21, 2016 10:38 p.m.
canterlotguardian says... #34
Exquisite Blood is also on the rise. It was steady at 7ish dollars until recent.
January 21, 2016 11:14 p.m.
Raging_Squiggle says... #35
Since the banning of Prophet of Kruphix, prices for Seedborn Muse are quickly on the rise. A 45%~ increase, from $14~ to $25~..

Servo_Token says... #36
Boom is up because people are doing literally whatever they can to prepare for our new Tron and Drazi overlords.
January 22, 2016 2:23 a.m.
Femme_Fatale says... #37
Wait, $8 now? I believe I bought those when they were like, 50 cents or something. It certainly is puzzling to what made them go up. I haven't seen any EDH lists become popular with them. I guess Stocks will come up with some research soon.
January 22, 2016 4:53 a.m.
PreZchoICE1 says... #38
Femme_Fatale DevoidMage just explained why they've risen. Modern. There is a large Modern Pro Tour coming up, people are looking for an edge against two of the expected best decks in Tron and Eldrazi. Land Destruction seems great there Im not so sure vs the rest of the field. There was a Boros LD decklist floating around that I know some people have been testing pretty extensively.
January 22, 2016 5:01 a.m.
Femme_Fatale says... #39
No no, I meant Attrition PreZchoICE1. Boom/Bust is at $10, Attrition is at $8.
January 22, 2016 5:16 a.m.
Sen Triplets went out of this world at $30. So did Tendo Ice Bridge at $25.
January 22, 2016 10:16 a.m.
canterlotguardian says... #41
That's what EDH rules changes will do to the secondary market.
January 22, 2016 11:24 a.m.
Chromatic Lantern is moving up. Likely to hit $15-$20 soon.
January 22, 2016 11:28 a.m.
PreZchoICE1 says... #43
ahh fair enough Im seeing Boom at 9 and Attrition at 7 on stocks my bad.
January 22, 2016 11:42 a.m.
Lightpulsar9 says... #44
So Palinchron has gone up from $11 to $30 in the past few days, and Inkmoth Nexus is up to $33 from around $25.
January 22, 2016 2:01 p.m.
Maelstrom Wanderer is on the rise, he's gone from a fairly consistent ~$24, to ~$32. Maybe he got a bump when the rules for off colour mana got changed, IDK.
January 22, 2016 6:24 p.m.
TheHelvault says... #46
Nayrash the Planechase version of him is going up a little too. Not enough to be worth it though, I'm gonna pass on that one.
Now that I've said that, watch it rise WAY up XD
January 22, 2016 7:02 p.m.
FAMOUSWATERMELON says... #47
Hypnotic Specter Beta is going up pretty suddenly.
January 22, 2016 7:09 p.m.
TheHelvault says... #48
FAMOUSWATERMELON Sure it's on the rise, but tcg low says $46 and the prices are saying $20. Sounds like it's worth getting a copy or two, unless it's already on its way back down (which I hope it isn't)
January 22, 2016 7:37 p.m.
TheHelvault says... #49
Just picked up a copy, watching the price like a hawk to make some money
canterlotguardian says... #1
I'm interested in seeing if Prismatic Omen goes up any. After all, your lands being all basic land types also means they can tap for all 5 colors of mana.
