I had no idea he bumped up in price to $8. I had bought a play set a few months back because it seemed too good to be $2. sexy

I'm 100% sure Chandra will drop in price in the near future. If you can find someone to buy a foil chandra off you for a good price you'd have to be completely retarded not to take the offer.

Yeah I jumped ship with my Demons. Got stable value from them too ( 2 Sacred Foundry s, and a Sol Ring )

Jace, Architect of Thought also jumped back up from $11 to roughly $25.

great card in the new standard. in a blue black deck it can be very dangerous. the price jump was alittle unexpected wish i picked a couple up before that.

Traded two pyromaster for a Deathrite, 2 Snapcaster, and two Abrupt Decay. I was more than happy to make that trade. Still trying to dump the foil one though.

Hmm.... was wondering what has suddenly made Pyromancer jump... does scry have anything to do with it?
After a scry, you already know what is on top, so you know if 0: or +1: is better... then with -7: you know at least one card ahead of time, so you can guarantee that you won't get a "dud 10 cards".
With all the Scry Burn spells, it seems like these would go well together.
Of course, I would assume it has more to do with the "can't block this turn" feature, making it great for mid-range.

No, it's used in Modern Jund now. It's also seeing more play in standard but the jump is mostly from modern.

It's a modern thing? That makes me iffy on parting with the foil one then lol. I know she'll drop, or I'm sure she would, but it's a matter of how much.

Honestly I don't feel like she'll be played in modern for that long. I guarantee the foil will drop soon. It's a $200 right now, it will only drop from there.

This thread has just brought a smile to my face i traded my Demons at about $3 and my Chandra at about $12. Now its about time to make some better trades back. XD
I was always surprised the Demon was that cheap back in the past its pretty much become a staple in most non-control black or partial black decks and even appears in some control decks.

It burned my ears to hear the value of Desecration Demon back in the day. While I'm glad that it's hit a more deserving price range, I'm also angry now that I don't want to bother trading for some. Kind of in this slump with Jace, Architect of Thought as well. Do you think they will stabilize at this price or will it rise/drop?

Jace, Architect of Thought is an amazing card. I can't imagine it lowering too much.

He was ten, or may still be in some places, traded most of mine off already, figuring they'll come back down. Chandra skyrocketed though, I don't know whether to trade my foil off or not.
