Disrupting Shoal's price jump

Disrupting Shoal is now $10, a price jump of about $8 in 6 months. What caused the big jump?

It made some big lists, like in Samuele Estratti's winning list from Pro Tour Philidelphia and Sam Black's 3rd Place deck. But, 6 months ago, it was $2.

TappedOut, what caused the price jump?

Travis Woo causes Disrupting Shoal to be $10?

Joke aside, $10 is twice Serum Visions , which is used in the majority of decks in Modern. What causes Disrupting Shoal to be that high?

If Serum Visions was a Rare I assure you it would be more.

Oh I forgot that Serum Visions was a common. Guess it was good when I got them for $1.50. I also got Disrupting Shoal for $2, though.

Also, if I want Spellskite s and Disrupting Shoal s, when's the best time to get them?

Sooner rather than later. Assuming they follow the trend of every staple, they will only go up for the next few months.

Trust me, it was Travis Woo. His Ninja Bear deck grew in popularity like a forest fire, and so did the price of Shoal.

Yeah, Travis Woo does that sometimes.
