Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Kiora, the Crashing Wave will be reprinted for duel decks, released in february. Do you think the duel deck versions will se a large price drop like Jace, Architect of Thought and Vraska the Unseen saw ($2-3 for a foil version), even if they're still playable in standard?
I think the duel deck elspeth will stay at a fairly higher price compared to other reprints from a sealed product just because the new artwork is pretty sweet. The kiora is pretty sad imho. I think it's a little on the ugly side to be honest.
The new kiora artwork isn't loaded yet (kinda helps my point I think)

8vomit: Jace saw a lot of play in several of the strongest archetypes in standard (MonoU Devotion, U/W Control and Esper control) and it still dropped a lot. Really hoping for a big drop in price myself :)

A lot of the price drop from Jace v Vraska was also due to the upcoming Standard rotation. I think Jace, Architect of Thought lost most of his value, not because his Duel Deck printing, but because people were already selling their copies since he's not really playable in non-Standard formats.

The same is true for Elspeth, Sun's Champion. A significant drop seems likely to me.

@Indigoindigo Jace, Architect of Thought did not see play in a lot of decks. He wasn't a staple in the mono-U aggro decks. Some versions included him and some didn't, and even when they did it wasn't as a 4 of. The only deck that Jace, Architect of Thought saw any serious play in was in U/W/x control list. Which is a big reason why he saw such a price drop when the duel deck was printed. He was basically only played in one deck (low demand) and there suddenly became a surplus of copies available. Just like with everyone else in the world, if there is a large supply and little demand then prices drop.
Elspeth, Sun's Champion will almost definitely drop in price, but the fact that she's played as a 2-4 of in multiple decks means that it most likely won't be anywhere near as much as what Jace dropped. Also, CrazyLittleGuy brought up a good point as well. The fact that this duel deck gets released about 6 months prior to a rotation will factor in as well. Again though, Elspeth see's a lot more play now than Jace was at this respective time last year so people won't be getting rid of their copies of Elspeth as fast as they were getting rid or Jace.

@abenz419 Are you sure about that? Jace was a 4 of in one of the bona fide best decks of last standard. Elspeth is typically a 2-3 of in a couple of different decks (in a much more diffuse metagame). Looking at mtggoldfish, she's played in 35.7% of decks and is listed as a 2 of (http://www.mtggoldfish.com/format-staples/standard/full/spells). I don't know what Jace's numbers were, but they seem very comparable.

I do think that will happen, just not to the extreme that jace vs vraska went to. Elspeth sees a lot of play, so it shouldn't drop too much
