How might the release of a dragon commander deck and dragons in Iconic Masters effect the prices of dragon tribal cards which aren't reprinted? For instance would a foil Sarkhan the Mad go up in price? Between the release of the tribal commander decks and Iconic masters the prices on a lot of dragon staples should increase before they are reprinted, correct?

Hard to say in paper, cards we don't know are getting a reprint in the deck are likely to see some increase, and I think Scion of the Ur-Dragon may see a bit of an increase due to increased options. It really depends on the market, if people see it as competitive then the cards will see an uptick but more likely than not people will be more inclined to wait for the sets. My personal rule of thumb is to only speculate with standard staples and cards that have been leaked, for example the Ixalan land cycle are likely to increase in value as they are great dual lands for a format with limited options for its mana. I think Sarkhan will stay about the same, Sarkhan Unbroken may see a price increase but for the most part speculating in paper does not pay off.
