Where do you guys see Elspeth, Sun's Champion and Mutavault going in price? Is Elspeth going to come back up after Born, or will it stay below $20 like it is now (Star City Price). And how will Mutavault change after it rotates out?
I've said in another thread that Elspeth, Sun's Champion will probably hit $25 before she rotates out. Idk about Mutavault since it is a reprint but it will probably go back to its pre-M14 price.

Elspeth, Sun's Champion should see a price increase after RTR rotates out, the way Jace, Architect of Thought shot up after ISD rotated out.
When the card pool is cut in half, relevant cards become apparent.

I can see elspeth going up. She is a board wipe that she survives and as the card pool gets bigger control gets stronger. She is perfect for control builds so I really think a boost in price is going to happen.

Hard to say regarding Elspeth given we know very little about BNG; however the post rotation point is a reasonable one.
Regarding Mutavault, I'm fairly sure it's at its peak given its ubiquity in top standard decks currently.

Wasnt mutavault like $30-40 pre reprint? I feel like the card will stay above $25 the remainder of its stay, and prolly dip to 15 post rotate before adjusting back up towards 25 after some time

i'm pretty sure mutavault was like 13-15 pre reprint. as soon as devotion weakens mutavault will drop big. but until mono- anything stops showing up as 6 of top 8 in PTQs it'll remain high.

Elspeth will drop dramatically unless she finds a new home in a good deck that doesnt rely entirely on Sphinx's Revelation Supreme Verdict Detention Sphere Jace, Architect of Thought and other cards that will be rotating out. And unless a modern deck shows she's good and playable there, she will go down even more once she rotates out of standard.
Mutavault is decent in modern, and has seen some play there for awhile, so it should return to it's pre-reprinting price, which was like $13~ I believe.

Mtg goldfish has paper version above $20 since 2011, and then above $30 since 2012, so I think think youll ever see mutavaults at 13 again except maybe a couple months after rotation

Star City Games isn't really a good way to gauge the actual prices of cards. They're such a huge selling entity that they can generally make their own prices instead of following the market too closely.
Also, they are generally overpriced because they offer the biggest selection of anywhere in the world - and they can get away with it.
