I don't see the misprint. Is the text messed up or something? I can't tell to be honest, looks normal to me.

There's a white dot to the right of the words "lightning bolt".

Looks more like damage than misprint to me.

Not a misprint. Inking error slightly likely, but not a misprint.

I'd value it at slightly less than that of a standard foil bolt.

The only misprints that are worth a lot more money are when they have multiple pieces of cards on them. My buddy found some blue foil from MM2 that looked like it was double foiled (it was really oddly shiny), and its probably only worth pennies more than a regular.

I believe that is what the printing industry calls a hickup..

There are many types of misprint/miscuts. For this one, I would sleeve it up, and keep it in perfect condition. Find some groups that like misprints, and see if they are interested in it. Foil bolt is a very good card to have a misprint on.

To someone that values misprints, there is added value here for sure. Just keep the card in good shape. If someone offers you under the value of the foil for it, just decline, and wait for the next person.

if you go the Facebook misprints page they have a list of things that they don't qualify as real misprints and the little ink spot is one of them. It's not actually valued any higher

Even though it is not one of the more serious ones, I am sure it will garner some interest due to it being a foil bolt.

As someone who not only values misprints, but buys and sells Magic cards for a good portion of a living, I value this at the same price that I value any other foil bolt from MM2 at.

ThatJunkMage that makes you a better source then me. I am not vested in the economy of this game. I just play for fun.

If he is trading to someone like me though, he could get a little extra. I am not talking double the price. I am saying a few extra bucks.

Sure, when it comes to something like this, there's always that one guy that really really wants it. Very similar to the alter community, it's a niche market.

I'm basically just setting the expectation low here. Most people don't want to pay extra for this. Someone coming out saying that they would in some circumstance gives an unrealistic reference to the popularity and ease of sale for things like this.
