Feel bads on PucaTrade

So I am on pucatrade every now and then and I am considering selling my Splinter Twins. Now, I have come to this problem before and that problem is that there is always one person buying 4+ of a card with like 90 dollars in points and then theres the few that just want one or two and have just enough points. Realistically I want to help the one that has been saving their points to get the card they want but at the same time I dont want to send out two different envelopes. I know that is lazy of me but its just so much easier to manage when they are both in one envelope and only need one confirmation. Not a huge deal but I try to help people out and sometimes I choose not to....anyone else have a similar 1st world problem?
send it all in one package. it's less cost to you (postage/tracking/envelope) and there are not as many shipments to potentially get lost. people trade away singles all the time, and it's possible the people that only want one or two already got the rest of the playset from someone else on pucatrade.
with all that said, i agree with you if i'm just trading a single card. i'd rather give it to the person that looks like they trade the stuff they play with and use rather than the person who has thousands of points and is just looking to speculate on modern staples.

It costs me slightly over $3 to buy an envelope & get tracking on majority of all my trades (<_< damn that's like $270). I'm that guy that would spend that extra $3 to make a couple people happy instead of that one person that probably doesn't really need it.
I'm unfamiliar with pucatrade, but maybe you can see what kind of effort people made to get those points?

addaff there's not really an easy way to tell how people got points on pucatrade. you can see your own point ledger, but not the ledgers of other people. you can see when people have massive amounts of points, and when they only have playsets of lands and other staples on their wants list.
i know the tappedout trading community has proven to be useful and reliable, but if you're looking for an additional way to trade cards, pucatrade has worked pretty well for me. you basically list the cards you own, and then check the "send cards" page to find other people that want the cards you have. when they confirm they received the cards you sent them, you get pucapoints. card values are based on tcg, though puca has their own system for figuring exact values. you also list the cards you want to your "want list." then once you acquire enough points to afford a card you want, it will pop up on someone else's send list and they can send it to you. once you confirm you received it, your points will transfer to them.
they've got tutorials and stuff on their site, and there are various reddit and other forums where people talk about it if you're interested. they also end up giving you around 500 pts ($5.00) for signing up and registering, just so you can try out the site.
here's my refer a friend link if you're interested in trying it out. i think we both get 100 points if you sign up.

I understand how pucatrade works and how they value everything. It really is a good system for people that want to be proactive in giving (for points) their cards away and hoping they get the cards they want or need. That's where pucatrade loses me. I rather be proactive in getting the cards that I want. It maybe a feature if you have an upgraded account, but I'm a bum, and don't feel the need to pay money to search for cards that I want.

I would look at their profiles, and see who looks the least like a speculator. Then send to them.

the hardest part of trading on that site is finding people that want the cards you have. trades get snapped up very fast. depending on what you're looking for (older, rarer, more expensive cards take more time) your cards will be sent pretty quickly. standard stuff goes the fastest, but i never have to wait for more than a few hours for someone to initiate a trade, once i have enough points for the cards on my want list.
it's nice to not always have to trade card for card like normal, but i get wanting to see the instant dividends as well as being able to trade up in value in normal trading. i feel like even more of a bum than i used to. now i don't even have to negotiate deals with people in the card shop or online, the site does everything for me.

I would be going after revised lands. I think I would put up $10 modern cards. So that would take me $20-ish give or take in shipping just to be able to get a Savannah. Then I'm in a list with 50+ people.

yep, agreed. though going after revised duals simply through trading is an uphill battle regardless of the forum.
best way i can think of is trading up into staples, waiting for them to spike, taking the hit trading them in for store credit, and buying from a store.

I think what you should do is send it to the bottom 2 people on the list. They have been waiting the longest and the people on top are the people who added it the most recently. It orders by user points on your send cards page, but on the page for Splinter Twin it shows the list of people ordered by date added, with lowest down being longest waiting. If you want to feel good about trading to the right people, send it to whoever is at the bottom of the list.
Good luck and happy puca trading!

This goes beyond first world problems into the theoretical realm of zeroeth world problems.
