Since the announcement of Fetchlands, what do you think these will settle at, Both Ally and Enemy, although only Ally have been revealed? Your thoughts?

Sounds like 20 dollars minimum but I don't know much about Economics. XP

I would guess that the allied fetches will hit a $10 minimum b/c of how widely this set will be opened. I could see them being $20-30 preorders, but that's just ridiculous for a rare in a large fall set.

@Snowstorm let's hope the market gets a bit more flooded with them after release that we can get them at 10-15, if not I believe you'd be dead on at about 20.

But I really hope I am totally wrong and JWiley is right :3

Yeah pre order prices are going to be ridiculous unless a lot of standard players don't see their power but that's high hoping

Its the Onslaught Fetches that are being reprinted so its Flooded Strand Polluted Delta Bloodstained Mire Wooded Foothills Windswept Heath

My bet is that the Zendikar Fetches will see reprinting in the nearish future.

Ah damnit had two forums open and posted on the wron page on both of them because I'm just that good!

As far as economics go on these they will be expensive... It really wouldn't be a surprise to see them at $50 and us modern players will jump, dive, and beat down an old lady to get them.

I personally think they'll settle at around 10-15 while they're still in standard/printed. But once they rotate out I could see them rising to 20-30

They'll mirror shocks for a while, while they are seeing a lot of print. At least that's my guess.

I'm on the side that thinks they'll be 10 to 15 once they stabilize (perhaps lower than that a year from now). The prerelease prices will be crazy, and it may take a little while before they really plummet, but I don't see any reason why they won't fall into shockland range.

On Tcg prices on original prints are rapidly falling!

This is going to be one of the most opened sets ever so I can see the KOT prints plummeting the price to $10-15, despite being legal in two additional formats. Since these will also be Modern legal for the first time I wouldn't be surprised if Zendikar fetches took a dive. Modern players will now be playing accurate fetches for their colours rather than, for example, using Misty Rainforest in place of Polluted Delta .

Preorder prices are so high for cheap alt to legavy/modern/commander and for those hyper competitive standard players, I expect same about $10 or les depening on the meta. You could buy non blues for under $30 already so outside standard the demand wont be enougg to harrejt huge price tags a for long while a

Yep, I think there will be absolutely no point at which these beauties will be considered undesirable. But the market will soon have plenty, so I really could see them settling down into the $10-$15 range. Like several of the shocks.

I'm very happy about this. Now I can build any Modern deck I want without A) having awful mana and B) selling my kidneys.

No way are these going to be at $10-15. $20 minimum. Hell I really think they'll settle around $30. You have to remember, fetches are used in EVERY format now. Standard, Modern, Legacy, Vintage and EDH. The standard, drafter and casual players will be opening the packs, but the modern, legacy, vintage and EDH players (or mainly, those who want to get into those formats) will be buying them out in singles. Many people will be stockpiling these as well, as they are a really nice investment considering in about 4 or more years they'll climb $10-$20, and still be climbing.

I do however like the current rapid price fall, I'm glad I never bought fetches yet. I can trade my foil Marsh Flats for more fetches.

So you're telling me, you open a box of Khans, get 4-5 fetchlands and you already make up the price of your whole box? The price will adjust to supply. I dont see it being 30$ until the set rotates.
